Art in April!

Day by chilly day, winter has turned into Spring and I couldn't be more pleased! April has arrived! Of course, there are so many fun things to do and see, both art related and otherwise.  First, a plug for my talented friend Brenna Jordan. Her instagram fame inspired book giant Simon and Schuster to invite her to write a book on handwriting.  The Lost Art of Handwriting: Rediscover the beauty and art of penmanship   came out in early March and it is fabulous! I feel like my handwriting has always been lost and Brenna's beautiful examples and prompts have already helped immensely. The book is filled with tips, tricks, and gorgeously rendered, heartfelt quotes to inspire even the laziest hand.  You can read more about Brenna's beautiful work in Selective Focus: Brenna Jordan by Brian Barber, Perfect Duluth Day (April 2018) and meet her in person at the WTF!
