Art in November!

Happy Halloween, everyone! As we take a breath and step into November, once again, there are many exciting things to see and do starting with the Grand Re-opening of Duluth Fine Pianos (DFP). On Friday, November 2, DFP will host a free Jazz concert to celebrate it's new space - complete with my Zentangle (R) inspired artwork complementing all those shiny, black pianos.

Saturday, November 3 is the deadline to participate in a gingerbread making workshop scheduled for November 10, as part of this year's Pepperkakebyen, Duluth's Gingerbread City, festivities at the Nordic Center.

During the day on Saturday, November 10, my artist friend, genealogy expert, and brand new author Kathleen M. Cargill will be signing her new book: Letters From Lucia: A young woman's travels to England as WWII looms at the Get Great Stuff Local Art & Gift Fair. And at night, local artist Mary Plaster's Duluth All Souls Night celebration will take over the Depot with an entire evening filled with commemorative events dedicated to those who have gone before.

Details on all of these events, and more, below! May your November be filled with creative joy!
